Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: December 2024

To ensure fairness and maintain the quality of our services, we have established the following cancellation policy for all private tutoring sessions, both online and in person.

1. Cancellation Notice

All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.

Cancellations can be made via teacherflorahk@gmail.com.

2. Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Late Cancellations: If a session is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, you will be charged 50% of the session fee.

No-Shows: If you fail to attend the session without prior notice, you will be charged the full session fee.

3. Exceptions
We understand that emergencies happen. Exceptions may be granted at the discretion of the tutor in cases of:

Medical emergencies (with appropriate documentation).

Severe weather conditions (for in-person sessions). if you are unsure, please reach out to me first.

4. Rescheduling Policy

Sessions rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance will incur no additional fees.

Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to the late cancellation fee.

Please note, that if you reschedule, your lesson might be rescheduled for a different day and/or time.

5. Payment and Refunds

Payments for cancelled sessions that fall within the policy guidelines (24+ hours' notice) will be refunded or credited toward a future session.

Late cancellation and no-show fees will be charged.
