Aim of Ms. Flora Tutoring

Tailored tools, practical exercises and tips to help and support

parents & guardians & children develop individually and together.

Both you and your child deserve to be supported, heard,

understood and inspired.

Who is it for?
Parents, guardians and children who need support and guidance along their developmental journeys

With over 20 years of working with children, my experience allows me to help you with a wide range of tools, methods and ideas no matter how big or small your situation may seem to be.

What does it do?
Support, guide and inspire!

As a trained Montessori tutor, experienced nanny and formal classroom teacher, I'm here to offer practical tips, tricks, and guidance. Through customised recommendations and discussions, I can provide you with tailored support and useful materials for everyday situations.

How does it do it?
As every family and child is different, we will start with discussing and observing the situation to identify a suitable learning plan or developmental area. From there, we will use educational and practical tools and materials that will not only support your child but it will also give you the guidance you deserve as a parent/guardian.

Who does it?
My name is Ms Flora. I’m here to guide, support and inspire those who may need it. I am a native English teacher from the UK and have more than 20 years of working with children from birth up to early teenagers. I am Montessori trained and have worked with different curriculums such as the EYFS (Early Years Foundations Stage). I can teach many different subjects including reading, writing, spelling, speaking and communication, phonics, Maths, Geography, Science and many others.

My philosophy is to be the reason people believe in the good of the world.

Montessori encourages self-directed learning, independence, and hands-on exploration, fostering creativity and critical thinking. Traditional schools provide structure, socialisation, and standardised academic goals that prepare students for future academic settings.

Combining these approaches allows children to develop at their own pace while still being guided by a structured curriculum, building both independence and discipline. It also helps them adapt to different learning environments, making them more resilient and versatile learners, well-prepared for real-world challenges and varied educational settings.

A mix of Montessori and traditional schooling offers the best of both worlds.
